On October 23rd, TAF introduced you to a very lucky girl that we had pulled from an open access shelter that day. Her name was Greta and she was more than ready to leave the shelter after her owners had left her there several weeks prior.
As it turned out, Greta’s medical condition was worse than we had originally thought. Besides needing a dental with extractions, it turned out that Greta was heartworm positive. After two months of heartworm treatment and medical observation… we are so happy to announce that Greta has made a full recovery and has found her perfect forever home!
I guess it took Greta finding her forever home to find that smile that she lost so long ago!
